WPDO Paramount Honours & Medallions is a way to recognize most celebrated illustrious individuals, high intellect personages, Noble Laureates’, public servants and distinguished impresarios from varied genres.These are the personalities who have dedicated their lives with their undisputed commitment towards the society through their act of deed, whether in their respective field of action or through social engagements which has impacted on the way to building better tomorrow for the generations to come.

 

WPDO HIGHEST PUBLIC SERVICE HONOURS :

WPDO intends to celebrate the value and virtue of public service to the community; highlights the contribution of public service in the development process and recognize the work of public servants.

WPDO Highest Public Service Honours are the most prestigious global recognition by virtue of which we intend to honour public service excellence to commemorate distinguished personas across the globe for their achievements and contributions that lead to a more effective and responsive public administration in countries throughout the world.

From 1st January to 15th April every year, the recommendations for the WPDO Highest Public Service Honours are submitted to WPDO Board Advisory, constituted by the WPDO President and the Governing Council. The recommendations are received from previous award recipients, government agencies, United Nations affiliated bodies all across the globe. The committee later submits their recommendations to the Board of Governing Council of WPDO for the final approval. The award recipients are announced on United Nations Public Service Day – 23rd June every year to receive their decoration in the designated investiture ceremony.

  1. Medal of Valor

This public servicehonour is bestowed for a perceptible deed of personal bravery or self-sacrifice above and beyond the call of duty that distinct the recipient from his comradeswithout distinction of race, occupation, position, or sex. An individual who voluntarily risked his or her life to an extraordinary degree of bravery while saving or attempting to save the life of others.Any person from all across the globe without merit of race, occupation, position, or gender is eligible for this award.

  1. Glory of the Nation

This highest public servicehonour is given for “exceptional and distinguished service”, without distinction of race, occupation, position, or sex. The award criteria include service in all fields of activities/disciplines, such as art, literature and education, sports, medicine, social work, science and engineering, public affairs, civil service, trade and industry, etc.rendered by an individual from all across the globe who have not only made the nation but the world proud with their achievements, acts or deeds.Any person from all across the globe without merit of race, occupation, position, or gender is eligible for this award.

  1. Exemplary Service Cross Medallion

The Exemplary Service Cross Medallion recognizes outstanding federal Public Service employees and individuals who have demonstrated excellence, professionalism, andinnovation in their work which has not only contributed to the system but also to the society at large. WPDO acknowledges the outstanding services rendered by the Public personnel and as a mark of its sincere appreciation and gratitude.Any person from all across the globe without merit of race, occupation, position, or gender is eligible for this award.

WPDO Highest Civilian Honours seek to recognize work of any division and is given for distinguished and extraordinary achievements/service in all fields of activities/disciplines, such as art, literature and education, sports, medicine, social work, science and engineering, public affairs, civil service, trade and industry, etc. All individuals without distinction of race, occupation, position or sex are eligible for these honours.

WPDO Highest Civilian Honours are the most prestigious global recognition by virtue of which we intend to honour civil service excellence to commemorate distinguished personas across the globe through their achievements and contributions that lead to a more effective and responsive growth in countries throughout the world.

This award is conferred on an individual whose outstanding actions in the moment of need have helped protect the defenseless and rescue the oppressed. As the name suggests, any individual who has shown immense potential to stand and support any social or socio-economic cause to protect the rights of any individual, group of individuals or community with unbiased and non-monetary interests. Any person without merit of race, occupation, position, or gender is eligible for this award.

  1. Exemplary Star Medallion

The award seeks to recognize work of any custom and is given for distinct and exceptional achievements/service in all fields of activities/disciplines, such as art, literature and education, sports, medicine, social work, science and engineering, public affairs, civil service, trade and industry, etc. Individuals from all across the globe without distinction of race, occupation, position or sex are eligible for these awards.

A child’s love for its mother is evereternal and impeccable. The Latin word “Magna Mater” refers to Great Mother as is our Mother Earth. Any individual from all across the globe who has demonstrated eternal efforts and dedication to save our life-giving and life-saving Mother Earthwithout merit of race, occupation, position, or gender is eligible for this award is eligible to receive this honour.

  1. Illustrious Humanitarian Service Honour

WPDO confers this award to an individual whose works and deeds have served to improve the quality of our lives and have inspired us to greater heights.The recipients will be recognized for the extraordinary impact their actions have made on preserving human life and advancing humanitarian causes, having overcome significant challenges along the way thus building peace within and amongst the nations.Any person from all across the globe without merit of race, occupation, position, or gender is eligible for this award.

  1. Exemplary Peace & Humanitarian Medallion

The individuals who receive this award have greatly contributed to global peace, improved personal security and fought for promoting peace and justice.
