WPDO was inspired from the severe unrest that the world is experiencing today. Truly speaking, no major war has taken place in last about 50 years but insurgencies, terrorism and cross border skirmishes have increased many folds, leading to a situation of total unrest and uncertainty. These small activities have proved to be more lethal as their durations are much longer than a full flagged war. WPDO was founded to work towards achieving total peace amongst & within nations. Since the core of peace or conflict lies in social, economic & religious fabric of a society, its important to work towards growth of nations and their people in order to maintain a restful situation where everybody is content & happy within his or her surroundings.

Education being a very significant link of this chain, occupies our basic attention as the saying goes, an educated nation is a healthy nation. WPDO not only involves in peace activities but also ensures that peace process be taught to people who are dedicated to the cause and want to adopt it as a career. There are Masters’ and Doctoral level program run at WPDO Diplomatic Learning Centers across the world. The courses are online as well as classroom lectures, incredibly suitable to diplomates, sociologists, anthropologists, peace activists, etc.
